May Artist of the Month - Susan Bryant

  One of the biggest challenges and most rewarding things of being an artist is to have an idea spark in your mind and to be able to manifest it into physical form.  I began drawing at about the age of 4 and have been exploring art ever since. 

   I worked in the North Texas area for nearly 24 years under the name Cloud9 Murals and Painting doing murals, faux painting, Venetian plaster and other projects for residences, businesses, and churches/ministries.  I primarily work in oils and acrylics but will also draw, sculpt and explore elements of mixed media.  I received a BA in Art with a minor in Art History from UTPB.  My inspiration comes from nature, Scripture, and dreams. I recently relocated to the Nueces Canyon area and look forward to focusing more on my art.  More works can be seen and purchased at Cloud9paintings.com.
